Minimal Gear Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and resourceful Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing orders, assembling components, and supporting various other warehouse functions to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well as part of a small team in an agile environment.

Known for our hydration systems, trekking poles, and other essential gear, we prioritize creating simple & useful gear for backpacking, hiking, trail running, bikepacking, and other adventures outside. Our gear is built with the planet in mind, using eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices. Key Responsibilities:

Order Packing: Accurately fulfill orders and ensure items are appropriately packaged for shipment.
Shipping & Receiving: Interface with carriers & customers during our scheduled pickup and delivery hours to ensure proper workflow.
Component Assembly: Assemble products and components based on customer or operational requirements, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Inventory Management: Assist with stock organization, stock counts, and ensure proper labeling of products.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring that warehouse shelves, workstations, and aisles are well-kept.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet goals and ensure operational efficiency.
Additional Duties: As part of a small team, expect to take part in many aspects of the business, from photography to R&D to trail building.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to take on different tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with backpacking or similar is a strong plus.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

Schedule:

Onsite Monday-Friday, core hours are 9a-4p.

Compensation:

$45,000 annual salary with company performance-based bonuses
