Disclaimer: I received the Saddle Bag in exchange for an unbiased review.
As soon as I received the Saddle Bag, I realized I could use it in many ways: pack or tent storage, food bag, etc. For our annual spring trip to the Canyonlands of Utah, my wife used the Saddle Bag as a storage bag for her extra layers. She stowed it both inside her pack and strapped to the outside. It survived scraping on sandstone without any noticeable effects. We didn’t have cloud cover much less rain, but she felt secure enough in its construction and closure that she wouldn’t have scrambled to jam it inside if precipitation had started. The Saddle Bag has an outstanding combination of softness and strength, and I look forward to using it on many trips in the future.
I was able to get one of these bags to review from the company for free to test, but they are so good I purchased another!
The construction quality is there. You can really tell that somebody put the time and effort into these products that is necessary to be high quality and durable to last for thousands of miles.
The geometry is also very unique on these bags, and I have found it to be exactly what I was looking for. They have a rectangular bottom which allows more room to be filled in a pack over a typical circular dry bag.
Overall, I highly recommend these bags!
